This is a Turn Key Contract to engineer, install and commission a new state of the art 45 ton/hour cupola melt system with new controls and equipment to meet U.S. MACT standards for cupola and emission-control technology. The following is a list of equipment and systems that were included in the project:
- Below Charge Take off cupola
- Combustion Chamber with lid
- Main blower with automatic air weight control
- After burner system with proportional control
- Combustion Chamber spray nozzles with proportional water flow control
- Hot blast recuperator
- Flue Gas Cooler and Fan with proportional control
- Eight module baghouse guaranteed to meet MAC standards with automatic controls
- Automatic module cleaning
- VFD on Fan for proportional control
- Broken Bag Detectors
- Automatic Charge and Delivery System (bucket and skip hoist)
