Description: Turnkey installation for a green sand mold line.

Contract: $2.8 million.

Schedule: Nov 97 thru July 98.

Summary: The project included the installation of a Disamatic Mark V molding machine and associated equipment. EC&S was responsible for all vibratory casting handling equipment, all return sand system equipment, a sand mullor, all prepared sand system equipment, a pressure pour system, all of the dust collection equipment, and the finishing equipment which was the blast machine, conveyors and grinders. EC&S provided engineering services for the layout, installation, power distribution and instrumentation of the system, this included building control panels and providing the PLC programming for the system.
